5 Rupees, Bimetal, 2004, Experimental Pattern, Bombay Mint. Mudra theme BI-Metal Pattern was a revolution to the Indian Coinage when the BI-Metal coins were introduced for the first time in Rs. 10 and Rs.5 denominations. It makes this issue even more Rare since this Pattern design or metal composition was not adopted by the Govt. at all and henceforth Rs. 5 were issued in Stainless Steel from 2007 until 2008 and in Brass-Nickel from 2009 till date. The Bombay Mint MM (Diamond) is also in a pecular position below "Rupees" on the Reverse rather than the generally adopted principle of mentioning it below the Date numerals on the Obverse. PCGS Slabbed SP 63. Very Rare. Estimate
Rs. 55,000-60,000
