Vijayanagara kingdom, Devaraya I or II, 15 Cen AD, Gold Pratapa (Half Varaha), 1.72g, 8.98x8.81mm, Obv: Shiva seated in padmasana with his consort Parvati on his left thigh, Mruga seen in upper right hand of Shiva, Rev: Nagari legend in three lines reading “ShriPra/TaPaDeVa/(RaYa)”. Ref: Studies in Vijayanagar Coins K Ganesh #41 pg 62. Devaraya I & II both belonged to the Saluva dynasty, the earliest lineage of the Vijayanagara rulers. Almost Mint State, Scarce. Estimate
